Moldova Water Security and Sanitation Project – Soroca Sanitation Project
This project involved conducting a feasibility study to analyze the state of sewerage systems, sanitation, and wastewater management in Soroca Municipality.
Our team provided comprehensive topographic and GIS support throughout the project duration. The activities comprised:
- Field surveys: Our surveyors conducted extensive field surveys to assess the condition of sewerage systems, sanitation infrastructure, and wastewater treatment facilities in Soroca Municipality.
- Data collection: We collected detailed data on over 1900 manholes, 58 km sewer pipes, and other infrastructure components using advanced surveying equipment and techniques.
- GIS analysis: The collected data was processed and analyzed using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software to identify patterns, trends, and areas of concern in the sewerage system.
Feasibility study development: Based on the findings of the field surveys and GIS analysis, we contributed to the development of a comprehensive feasibility study outlining potential interventions and recommendations for improving water supply and sanitation security in Soroca Municipality.
