Cahul Water Supply and Sanitation Project
The project aimed to equip the operators of “Apă Canal Cahul” with advanced technologies and techniques for managing water and sewerage networks.
Our contribution to this project included designing and implementing two training programs—basic and advanced—on Geographic Information Systems (GIS) using ZuluGIS products. The activities comprised:
- Curriculum development: We developed comprehensive training modules covering various aspects of GIS technology and its application in water and sewerage network management.
- Training delivery: Experienced instructors delivered the training programs to the operators of “Apă Canal Cahul,” covering topics such as data collection, analysis, and visualization using GIS software.
- Hands-on exercises: Practical exercises and simulations were conducted to provide hands-on experience with GIS tools and techniques, enabling operators to apply their newly acquired skills in real-world scenarios.
- Evaluation and feedback: We conducted assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of the training programs and gathered feedback from participants to identify areas for improvement and future training needs.
These programs empowered operators with the knowledge and skills needed to efficiently manage utility networks, ensuring reliable water supply and effective sanitation services for the residents of Cahul District.
